Chef Mynhardt Joubert cooks from Peter Veldsman’s new book

It is a wish of many food lovers: to sit at a table with the great South African gourmand, CL Leipoldt, to share in his food stories and cooking. Although that is an opportunity that can’t be repeated, food lovers and cooks can still sit at a table with chef and the Leipoldt of this time, Peter Veldsman: a South African authority on entertaining and food, who has inspired many cooks and chefs with his unique approach to food. On 27 August Chef Mynhardt Joubert will interpret dishes from Veldsman’s book, Wat die Hart van Vol Is, and people are invited to join this wonderful, intimate, lunch and sit at the table with Peter Veldsman – a true food legend.

This 5-course lunch will take place at Chef Mynhardt Joubert’s beautiful historic ‘at home restaurant’ in Paarl, and is guaranteed to be an event that will feed both soul and body.
